7 Things That Differs Apple iPhone 7, From iPhone 6s and iPhone 6

The wait is finally over, Apple officially launched iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus on 7th September 2016 in their launch event held at San Francisco, California. Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc. took the covers off from their upcoming and awaited flagship smartphones.

Here are 7 things that differs iPhone 7 from their earlier iPhone devices, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6.

Storage Capacity

Apple depricated their 16GB storage iPhone variant from iPhone 7 which was available for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6. iPhone 7 will start from 32GB storage variant, having two other variants of 128GB and 256GB storage.

Processor and Chip-set

iPhone 7 has Quad-Core A10 fusion processor chip, while iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 has Dual core A9 and Dual core A8 processor chip respectively.

Camera

iPhone 7 features 12-megapixel rear shooter with six element lens having f/1.8 aperture. While iPhone 6S also features 12-megapixel rear shooter but it comes with five element lens having f/2.2 aperture. iPhone 6 features only 8-megapixel rear shooter. iPhone 7 also features Quad-LED flash.

Talking about FaceTimeHD front shooter, iPhone 7 comes with 7-megapixel shooter, which is increased by Apple about 2-megapixel from iPhone 6s.

Weight

Weight of the iPhone 7 is 138 grams, which is light weighted compare to the iPhone 6S, which has 143 grams of weight.

Lightning Connector

Apple removed 3.5 mm audio jack port from iPhone 7, it has lightning port to connect headphones. It is the new hardware change seen in iPhone 7. Apple introduced wireless AirPods, which is a step forward from Apple towards wireless future.

Stereo Speakers

Apple added stereo speakers in iPhone 7 at top and bottom of the display. If you love playing games and watching movies on smartphones, you will get tremandous sound quality experience.

Home Button

Apple introduced Taptic Engine powered home button in iPhone 7, which is force touch sensitive. Pressing the new home button generates a similar Taptic Response as is generated when 3D touch is used.

These are the seven major things which diffrentiates Apple iPhone 7 from earlier iPhones, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6.

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus will be available from October-2016 in India. iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus features five colour variants, which are Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.
